In my time as the Member of Parliament for this wonderful constituency, I have met so many local people who do fantastic things in and for our local community. This was particularly true during the Covid pandemic, when thousands of people across Hitchin, Harpenden and the villages came together to help those most in need locally. This Autumn I am launching a new Community Champions project, which seeks to shine a light on some of the people going above and beyond to help local people and recognise the good work that they have been doing.
As part of this project, I am asking local residents, Councillors and community organisations to nominate volunteers going the extra mile in their communities to be considered to be Hitchin & Harpenden's monthly "Community Champion". You can nominate someone using the form below.
