I was concerned to hear about reports of increased levels of crime in parts of Hitchin recently. It is vitally important that local people feel safe in our community and I will be taking action to protect our community. I am conducting a survey (found below) of residents in the areas reported to me and I will then use the information received to work with the police and local Councillors to improve safety.
