Bim Afolami MP held an open meeting for residents in Sandridge last week to give them the chance to tell him how they had been affected by Luton Airport’s altered flight routes. The meeting was very well attended with well over 200 people.
Bim said: “It’s important that I know exactly what those who live under the flight path are contending with and how it affects them so that I can take those views forward to Luton Airport and the CAA.
“Some of my constituents are living with unacceptable levels of disruption, and I want to make sure that the airport addresses their complaints before it can increase its passenger numbers.
“I would like to thank everyone who came to the meeting for sharing their views, and I would encourage everyone who hasn’t already done so to log their complaints by 30th September so that they will be considered in the post-implementation review. I will be responding to the post-implementation review in the next few days.”
