As many of you will know, the Prime Minister has set out further measures that will be taken to tackle coronavirus.

Recent months have underlined what we always knew - our public sector workers make a vital contribution to our country.

I welcome the Government's announcement that almost 900, 000 public sector workers will see above-inflation pay-rise - for the third year in a row for the majority. 

The Next Chapter in Government's Plan to Rebuid

On Friday, the Prime Minister laid out plans to reopen more businesses from 1 August, such as bowling and staking rinks, and including close contact services such as beauticians to resume.
