We’ve been campaigning hard for some time to open up the Eastern access to Hitchin Station. My team met with North Herts Council on Friday to discuss a range of issues - including how we can make faster progress on this really important campaign.
The Plough is a really important pub for people in Kings Walden. I’m working with local campaigners to explore options to save the pub from the threat of closure. On Friday I met with the Save the Plough team to discuss next steps.
After the good news that over £1m is being invested in local grassroots sport, on Friday I visited Holwell and Breachwood Green to take a look at how that funding will make a real difference for local people.
