Today I met with the Schools Minister Nick Gibb, along with seven Head Teachers from across Hitchin and Harpenden. We discussed a number of issues including teacher recruitment and retention, curriculum, and funding.
I spent much of the morning with the team at the North Herts Ethnic Minority Forum in Hitchin. What an amazing group of volunteers, working with a very small paid staff, who serve the various ethnic minorities who live in our area.
